Mayank Anand Shraddha Nigam is a five year old label dedicated to bringing Indian handloom fabrics and weaves back into mainstream fashion. The designers reinterpret hand-woven textiles into contemporary clothing. The design quotient is minimalist with an ability to transcend – “from the ramp to the home,” seamlessly.
In the designers’ own words: “We are the voice of the weavers and Indian textile in a contemporary avatar”. The label is positioned for an urban audience with a flair for experimentation and individuality.
The label made its debut in its year of inception at the Lakme fashion Week in 2010. The honest endeavor of staying true to our brand DNA of “Sustainable Luxury,” which rests on 5 guiding principles of Reduce-Recycle-Reuse-Repurpose and Recreate, has now become our biggest strength.
The label firmly believes in comfortable fashion that fits and enhances the body. Drapes and versatility are two defining factors of the label that includes innovative separates as well as tunics and dresses. The label is now recognized for its signature cuts and fabrics.
The label retails at various multi-designer stores across the world.
